Well I think it’s the fourth time or so that this gorgeous place has changed its name! And I have eaten here every time it did! So now time to review the new Lost Barrel. This menu is enormous! Too big I think, so you have a lot to choose from.We opted for the $22 per person tapas selection, you can choose any 4. So, we chose charred prawns, steak blue cheese, squid and ribs.The charred prawns were way overcooked and rubbery, it comes with coleslaw and I would have to say, its probably the worst coleslaw I have tasted, there is simply no flavour in the dressing whatsoever! Is anyone in the kitchen tasting this slaw? The steak and blue cheese with salsa verde was really nice, the squid was nice and tender but you could still taste the flour, the ribs were really dry. Room for improvement. They have good specials on all the time here, so its probably worth a try! I would give them another go, as I would like to try the all you can eat Pizza for $19.90!
