Teppanyaki is all about the experience and at Samurai Teppanyaki House you do get a taste of it. Although not a hugely theatrical show, watching the chefs cook over the hot plates in front of you is pretty cool. Smokey and hot the restaurant itself is quite small and if you like it or not you will get up close and personal with whoever is sitting next to you…. I did find the menu quite expensive especially given the small portion size.
This place has had great reviews… I was slightly disappointed though.. the food isn’t bad,don’t get me wrong… But neither is it outstanding. Slightly on the pricey side … And you’ve only got banquet options so no ala carte. I think my stand out dish was probably the salmon … Their tempura soft shell crab was hard and the soba was a tad too sweet for my liking. Great service !
