We came here cause friend recommend this place so here we were. Our order was simple just curly fries, sweet potato fries, chicken wing, deep fried twinkie, mocha, milk shake and green tea. We waited for more than 45min while only two tables at the moment, other table had got their order. Unbelievable, we have to waited that long for just a simple food. Apparently they had another two uberEats order which made the service more slowly. At last our food arrived..my friends seem enjoyed it but not me. Too greasy, desert and most beverage too sweet. My mocha was watery, I couldn’t taste any coffee in it. Service need improvemet.
When we walked in this just looked like your regular greasy American themed diner. Except they have a full vegan menu with like 15 or so burgers, different kinds of fries, shakes and desserts. Even most of the cabinet treats are vegan!! We had a Hawaiian burger and a vegan bacon avocado burger, complete with vegan fried egg and they were both amazing! I also loved the notzarella sticks with honey mustard sauce. SO GOOD!! We also took home a wagon wheel, choc cookie sandwich and a bag of vegan melting moments. Spent way more than we intended to lol but the food is really great. The kind of fast food that even non vegans would enjoy. Not that they need to though because they have a full Omni menu as well!
Ordered via UberEATS. Was expecting for the $18 price tag that the vegan ‘cheese & bacon’ tater tots would be well worth it – unfortunately it was the total opposite. Small portions of the sour cream and bacon and an effort to commit to even getting half way through. The vegan Mexican corn side did not live up to average expectations either. Corn tasted old and seemed microwaved a few times over. The mega choc-chip cookie was the best part and that was average. I’d suggest upping their game/quality or dropping prices to be more realistic with what is served.
Food is good, however when putting this against the shocking service – from the owners them selves- all I can say is rude rude RUDE First visit was pleasant.. came with my boyfriend he is omni and I vegetarian, the food was good, over priced but it was fine, this was at nightSecond time I took my friend who is also vegetarian and dealt with the owners ! They are revolting rude people… especially the woman! I don’t know how you’ve kept this business alive when you are a cow of a woman ….. all I can say is when the place gets taken over by a new set of people let me know so I can return.
I used to love going to this place and drive 40 mins to go there. However I have noticed both service quality and staff service go steadily down hill. Last time I went there was only two teenagers working. Who seemed to not know what they were doing. orders came out wrong and missing items. The desserts were stale. Won’t be going back. There are now similar restaurants around Adelaide were the quality is still A+
Really disappointed by the desserts here. From my understanding this place is supposed to be known for their cupcakes and other American style sweets. When I came by one night the only cupcakes on offer were these generic vanilla and chocolate cupcakes that looked like ones you could get from the super market. I thought I’d try my luck anyway and got a vanilla cupcake with chocolate icing. Unfortunately my instincts were right. The cupcake was dense and didn’t taste anything out of the ordinary. The icing on the other hand was horribly sweet. The sugar to butter ratio was way off! You could tell by how stiff the icing was.I also took away a slice of pecan pie, which sadly was not any better. It was probably the least exciting rendition of the classic American dessert I’ve tried in my life. Won’t be returning.
So we go there and we ordered. I ordered a shack stack(beef patty, double melted Americancheese, brown sugar Bourbon BBQsauce, hash brown, Ranch dressing, two crispy chicken tenders, lettuce &house made Shack Sauce)*from their websiteWe waited for 45 minutes. The chicken tasted like it was from a frozen packet. My other two friends weren’t really impressed with their meals either. Can’t say we will be visiting this place again any time soon.
