Having fish and chips delivered to your door: awesome. Having fish and chips delivered to your door cold: what’s the point? Not only that, but I ordered a steak burger with ‘the lot. I have to emphasise ‘BURGER’ and ‘THE LOT’. Now, I don’t like picking at local business but what I got was a slice of steak as thin as a five vent piece, a pinky-sized piece of bacon (burnt), a slice of tomato, and a cold egg wedged between homebrand slices of bread. Yes, those thin, crumbly and dry pieces of bread. Utterly disappointed, if you couldn’t tell.On the upside, the proportion of chips was good value, and the delivery time was quite exceptional. Unfortunately, it’s just not good enough to recommend further.Step up your game guys. The concept is brilliant (coming from an avid entrepreneur of fish and chips), but the quality just isn’t there.23 Mar, 2015Having fish and chips delivered to your door: awesome.
