Should I expect more from a shopping mall cafe? Salmon Focaccia should have been a bagel because the filling of smoked salmon, cream cheese and onion is a Jewish bagel concept. It still should work reasonably well with a fluffy white focaccia and would have if the chef had not used the cheapest, worst salmon product. The salmon was riddled with white, sinewy fat- (I think its fat, Im not sure) that I had to separate from the actual flesh of the salmon as it was inedible. It was actually gross. The salmon that did not have this stuff through it, was in tiny patches the size of a 5 cent coin. Picture smoked salmon in the deli: lovely pink flesh, thinly sliced, layers onto cream cheese. This was not it. How could you serve your customers this rubbish? I hope my feedback to the cashier reached the kitchen.
Found plastic in the salad. Was a terrible experience. Do no recommend to anyone. Could have died from eating plastic. Poor quality checks and food safety overall.
Spargos has become my fortnighly treat to myself and I will continue to come back! Eggs benny (although I do add extra bacon- whether its because I like my bacon or they give small proportions Im unsure) is absolutely delicious! Most places cook their spinach however here its left raw as to be honest I much prefer it. The iced coffees here are to die for and are very big. Definetly get your moneys worth here.
Fantastic only place left in marion that’s not a part of the food court that’s worth going too!So give spargos a try and realise what service and great coffee really should be like
Have been here a few times and my favourite dishes are the Luciana and Pollo. Have only been here on Mondays though as they have a buy 1 get 1 free deal which makes it quite a cheap eat.
Had a $22 pizza. Expected ALOT more for the price. The food itself was tasty enough but lacking in size. The wine was $8 per glass which is to be expected but again could be dropped in price a bit
Spargos has been around since the second floor of Marion was built. Been there at least once a year, food is consistent and good. Menu changes and so do the chefs. Good place to stop by while shopping or if catching a movie
