Nice, with lots of seating inside. Came here for dinner and had the schnitzel special which includes the salad bar. It’s a well priced meal. The signage could be better as it wasn’t stated that there were separate places for ordering food and drinks but staff were nice and acknowledged that it should be communicated better. The salad bar had a good selection, the schnitzel was tasty but quite small compared with what I’d get at other similar type venues. Overall, a nice enough place.
Had dinner at The Somerset last night with a large group (30+) of people, a farewell to a couple moving to Melbourne. I had the porterhouse that was fine but nothing special, salad bar was ok but at $29 not bad value. I had food envy with the seafood plater that was very generous. The meals came out in a steady stream but at the end there were three meals missing. In summary not a bad value meal but nothing that would bring me back in a hurry.
