So pretty much the worst pub meal I’ve had in my life. A tiny bit of burnt pumpkin, a single dry roast potato, and two small pieces of lamb smothered in bad gravy. Even at $14 must be the worst Sunday roast I’ve eaten in my life.
Three course lunch special is good value for money. The mains are the save size serving as if ordering off the regular menu. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great pub food. Would eat here again.
Value for money lunch specials 7 days a week. $13.90 gives you soup of the day, your choice of a main meal from the specials list, all you can eat salad & veg bar, butter and fresh bread rolls and dessert. The mains were generous portions, everything at the salad & veg bar was fresh and well presented. The chicken schnitzel with diane sauce was really tasty, meat was tender and well crumbed. The staff were friendly and attentive. The slice of strawberry cheesecake was a nice end to the meal. Couldn’t have asked better for a pub meal. The place filled up very quickly and seemed to be very popular with the Seniors (who get an extra 10% off).
Badly cooked steak. Ordered steak medium, but was cooked too long. Prawns over cooked. Salad consisted of parsley and two thin strips of cabbage. Very disappointed by the meal. Will not return.
Not the best.. Food wasn’t the best very adverage no flavour and my mother and I both felt off after eating there also the service was not the best. defiantly will not be eating there ever again.
We went to the Clovercrest Hotel for dinner on Saturday I ordered the seafood combination $29.00 it tasted like it was straight out of the freezer with a made in china tag on it totally tasteless and manufactured my partner ordered the steak with prawns crab and chilli sauce $29.00 the steak was half the size of the $23 steaks plus 4 prawns and microscopic piece of crab smothered in a chilli sauce that tasked like it was straight out of the bottle very disappointing and poor value for money
Great value for money! Three course lunch menu for $12.90! Delicious veggie soup for starters. Selection of lambs fry, fish and chips, schnitzel, roast of the day, steak and calamari. And dessert of the day. Plus salad bar on top! I highly recommend the roast of the day (lamb) and the steak. Both cooked to perfection. Don’t be deceived by outside looks. The food and service are fantastic. Will definitely be back.
