Some dishes aren’t to bad, I recommend fish and chips or burger, but mushrooms pasta was really oily and gross. Service was terrible waited more than an hour for food.
I stayed in Seafront Hotel, too tired don’t want to go outside so order food pick up to bring back room. First time I order a mushroom pasta $14, salty and weird. Then I went to there again, ordered a seafood pizza medium $22. Too salty only thing I can do is throw it away all. So I wasted $36 for dinner. I feel so angry. Although I just stay one night on the island doesn’t mean that the chef can ignore and do things worse. Hope they can see this review and changed their working attitude.
Very ordinary food for the price and not much creativity, had the Asian noodle salad with an overload of peanuts and dressing, haloumi salad was a little better but only 3 pieces of haloumi 6 oysters kilpatick a beer and rose $92. Give it a miss and try another place or just enjoy a drink here for the views.
We came here for the AFL Grand Final a few weeks ago- we had the Reef and Beef, and the Mixed grill. The steak was tasty, my lamb chop was quite nice, and they have the best chips!! The seafood on the plates was also quite nice, especially the prawns. My only criticism is that some of the steak was a bit chewy. Apart from that it was a good Pub meal- just dont expect anything fancy- but if you’re after a good hearty feed this place fits the brief. Plus it has a great view over the ocean which is just divine on a nice day.
