Great value, great authentic food, warm atmosphere. Not a bad word said among our group of six people. Look forward to visiting again soon 🙂

Tonight we tried Argos for the first time. We would have tried it earlier, but the last time we stopped past, the restaurant wasn’t even open, despite it being 6pm. We were seated at a table that didn’t have enough forks, which I needed to steal from another table. Drink service was relatively fast, beers were $8 each which is average. We had to wait a little while for the waiter to take our food order. We ordered a garlic bread, a T-bone cooked medium and a serve of lamb loin chops. The $4.00 garlic bread was average, four small pieces that were nicely charred. The $24.50 lamb loin chops (3) were small but nicely seasoned. They came with well-cooked chips and a greek salad which was a bit limp but had nice dressing. The T-bone was cooked in a pan (not on a grill) and was definitely on the well-done side (not medium!). The bill for two of us was close to $70 which is pretty high….and, in my opinion, too high for the quality of food. The waiters were civil, but not bubbly or friendly. The front door was broken, and at random times throughout the evening, the cold westerly wind would blow it open, filling the restaurant with an icy breeze. With such a range of restaurants in the area, serving similar food at much cheaper prices, we won’t be back.

Very dissapointed.haven’t been there for 18 month’s.service was atrocious.unfortunately the waitress couldn’t understand English very well, and when my meal came out which I didn’t order,I was told to have it anyway.from what I could observe, they were on their phones all the time.only 8 people left in the cafe at 1030pm and half an hour or so after finishing our meal, they hadn’t cleared the table.food wasn’t of the same high standards that I had previously had in there numerous times.very very ordinary

I had he lamb souvlaki and it was DELICIOUS. Beautiful and tender, just the right amount if seasoning. The serving sizes were on the bigger side, which I was pleased about. Will come back to try the seafood.

The most appalling uneatable breakfast I have ever been served in my life burnt mushrooms raw tomato and cold toast. This will be be the last time we set foot here.

Another restaurant suggested by a friend as I had never been before. When we (3) arrived we were seated straight away but that’s because there was no one else in the cafe. We ordered some champers which arrived quickly and then looked at the menu.A large variety to chose from. We ordered the following oysters Kilpatrick – garlic bread – garlic prawns – salmon – (me) 3 combination yiros (lamb chicken pork) I also asked for tatziki sauce and yiros bread which didn’t come with the dish but was not a problem. My guests enjoyed their meals my yiros combo was delicious. The meat very tender good servings and yiros bread great!Prices are VERY reasonable for the serving size and so were the drinks.Only negative better housekeeping on window stills dead flies and spider off putting. Service could be better as I cleared dishes from our table to the next. BUT food was excellent.

What an interesting night of dining. We arrived early and the place was vacant, within the hour it was pumping!! We all ordered Entrees, that was a huge mistake because we ate too much… the mains were very very generous! The meat was amazing! Didn’t finish our mains and had to get take away containers. The waiting staff seemed a little unprofessional and clumsy, one plate collision near our table and then a guest at another table had a full glass of wine spilt all over his clothes!! Well priced old school Greek restaurant, we will be going back!
