I heard somewhere this place is also owned by Lawash Bakery – its a similar menu but bigger and better and the mantu is available! Weve been several times here already since it opened now and you can bring your vego pals here too – they do an amazing eggplant curry and more off the menu, just ask. I also recommend the mantu (house made dumplings) and the charred kebabs with Bolani bread. The inside dining area is split into 2 sections – theres a restaurant dining section and a more casual seating area which also has a pool table. Mostly weve come here for an easy meal – sometimes weve arrived around 9pm too tired to cook after a long day, and theyre still serving dinner……so great when everywhere else in the area has stopped serving food you can rely on them! Being a new venue its still being discovered, you wont find many hipsters here (yet) but if they knew about it theyd claim it as their own secret. In a nutshell – The place is genuine and a lovely family run business – go there for delicious Afghan food that wont break the bank. Cant wait to try more on the menu!
