The Barista opened the doors up early for me, I think she could sense my need for coffee today! Incredibly sweet and worth a mention. For a quick swing by on the way to work, I thought I would try my luck, the coffee was surprisingly great with the added bonus of not being cringed at when requesting coconut milk!Will definitely be returning for a sit down coffee and snack!
Cutest little cafe! Loved the atmosphere and the setting. The people working there had good personalities and I really like the whole suspended coffee idea they have going. Food is amazing – especially their smoothies!
My boyfriend and I made a spontenous lunch visit to the Red Lime Shack as I am vegan and we both appreciate healthy food.The decor is quite quirky and op shop themed as someone mentioned in a previous review. They also offer a book swap where you can leave behind a book and grab another off the shelf which I thought was a cool idea!I didn’t actually order any food, I just got one of their smoothies which I really enjoyed but I had a bite of the burger my boyfriend order and I WILL be back to get myself one!He’s a big meat eater and said he really enjoyed it and it was the best burger he’s had. Had a very disappointing experience here which was disheartening as I heard the food is quite good. We walked in and weren’t even greeted, in fact we were totally ignored by the staff. If I was in the area again I would possibly give them another go, if nothing else was open, but I don’t get to the Port often so don’t see it happening. Such a shame.
Jeepers!!! I just discovered their snicker slices. So awesome I could eat 100. Coffee was good but it was all about the those snicker slices.
Great place for lunch, went there today with my girlfriend who is vegan and we were amazed at the menu! Really nice coffee too and the raw treats in the fridge looked and tasted amazing- Throughly impressed we will be back!
I tried to eat here as I was interested in having Red Lime Shack cater a party, but we walked in and the two staff members didn’t even look up from the counter. There was no one else in the cafe. As we approached, the staff member at the counter kept looking down at a piece of paper and the other, behind her, just looked at us – we were still being ignored (three of us) so we decided to leave. Really disappointing.
