Here for work and just demolished the wood grilled chicken. You could not ask for more. Half of the most succulent, perfectly cooked chicken at a bargain price. Im stuffed!Potentially it didnt need that finishing shot of olive oil and the potato salad could have been a bit more interesting. Regardless…….this place is always awesome and I spend that meal allowance here every time I come.
We visited here for lunch on a Saturday, welcomed straight away and got a table at the bar. We ordered the special spicy chicken wings as entree they were fresh not to spicy delicious even. But before we could finish our main was brought out. This is one of my pet hates, when people have an entree wait until they are done before bringing out their mains, so they arent overloaded with food. We had the schnitzels, the mushroom sauce wasnt much but the blue cheese sauce was really tasty! When the waitress comes to clear our table she asks if we enjoyed our meal, we ordered a bit much but it was really good, she goes well you did order entree, you will know better next time.. yeh no need for your comment lady. The atmosphere is really cool. Its always nice to see a pub that is 100s year old can come back to life! With only local beers on the tap its cool little find!

We also decided on some hot chips, they were crunchy and perfectly seasoned with a tasty aioli. Popular with families, some outdoor seating and a chilled vibe. Check it out, Ill be back.
We were love the Port Admiral Hotel. The fit out is great – really welcoming. They offer a range of beers including craft beers. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The food is good quality pub food.
