Hidden Gem with friendly service. We often travel through Port Wakefield on our way to the Yorke Peninsula , and most times just stop for a quick bite at the many servos or bakery. But this Sunday on our return we really felt like a counter meal and sought out the local pub. Firstly we had our dog with us and thought we would have to tie him up outside, but management showed us to the puppy playground in their beer garden. The dining room was set up so nicely and had some real old world charm to it. The homemade soups were complimentary and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff , they were interested in us and happy to chat, real country hospitality. The meals are very affordable and was complimented with a lovely array of salads, treat yourself and give this place a go next time you pass through. I know we will be back.
