I had the vegan burger,chips and salted caramel milkshake it was absolutely delicious! The veggie pattie was home made which is always a plus, the vegetables were fresh in the burger the garlic aioli was tasty and not over powering! Everything else was just as good! Will definitely be back!
First had Ben Hurs burgers ordering through UberEATS. Was so impressed, we decided to eat at their restaurant a few weeks later. Again, the food was tasty, amazing really! Staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming. They were sweet to our young kids and made us all feel very much at home. Also, they make the best coffee milk shakes. Happy to make this our go to burger haunt.
This place has potential! There are plenty of choices on the menu and they cater for food intolerances. Burgers are nice albeit a bit sloppy… the chips are good and the seasoning choices are also a great choice. Service was good. Can’t wait to see the new menu.

Best gluten free take away in Adelaide. Finally somewhere that understands and caters to gluten intolerance and celiac with all food options available gluten free! So good, especially the gf battered fish and chips and burgers!
Pretty underwhelming. Takes a long time to make a below average and overpriced burger. There is at least a dozen better burger places in SA I could think of before this place.
Ok, I’ve been here a few times now, so I thought it was finally time to write a review. I have tried many things off of the menu, but the fish Burger is definitely my FAVOURITE. This is not your typical fish and chip store or standard burger bar!! The smoky charcoal flavours and the fresh, quality ingredients are always to die for. The choice of seasonings for the hot chips is something different, and all taste great. You can definitely tell there is some passion coming from the kitchen which is clearly represented through its food! I’m totally addicted to the home made chocolate mousse! You can’t go wrong with anything you choose at Ben Hurs – you won’t be disappointed!!
