SAT NIGHT DINDINSThis restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a small shopping centre & easily missed but its worth a visit if you like Italian food. The very first thing I ordered was a bottle of tap water for the table but it wasn’t brought until we asked another two times. My husband wanted to try the prosciutto-wrapped bread sticks to start. I found them a little dry but he enjoyed them. For my main I had fettucine gamberi peperoncino (chilli prawns) with a rose sauce. I am a sucker for pasta with a rose sauce & this was comfort food for me. It was also filling & when I asked for a doggy bag for my leftovers, I was supplied with a takeaway container to scrape my bowl at the table. I ate the rest for dinner the next day & it was still good.I had to ask for parmesan cheese for my meal – I think it should be brought to the table as a matter of course when pasta is ordered. He had misto di pesce (mixed seafood served with salad) which pleasingly wasn’t all deep fried like at some other places. He’s not keen on crab cakes so I ate them (yum) & he scoffed the rest. The accompanying sauce didn’t go far though. She had gnocchi bolognese & was disappointed that the sauce was a bit dry but some chilli oil was brought to our table (without having to ask) & she added it & cleaned her plate. She also ordered a side salad which was a generous size for one person but didn’t have any olives in it (as described on the menu). We ordered a massini cake for takeaway which sis & I shared later that night with a cuppa. It was very rich & decadent. I couldn’t eat a whole one.Furthermore, during our meal it was noticed that a small hunstman spider was on the ceiling tiles above the next table, distressing a patron, so the waiter brought out a ladder & dispatched it.

I tried this local Italian restaurant upon recommendation and was extremely impressed. Freshly renovated with a homely feel the place was buzzing- it felt like walking into a little Italian trattoria. Great food, amazing service. Will definitely be back!

After eating here years ago, I have to say I’m devastated to see it’s changed hands. Considering the exorbitant price I paid for my pasta, and what I received, I’m not sure I’ve ever felt so overcharged for a meal. Being a glutton for punishment we did give it a second chance, but unfortunately the result was the same.

Our favourite local Italian restaurant. Great food and service every time. We eat here as often as we can. Great family restaurant to eat in or takeaway.

Been going to this place for over 15 years. Always had a good meal here. Probably dined here in excess of 50 occasions. Congrats to the latest owners as they have made the experience even better. Also you want clean? Check out the toilets. Impressive. I say clean toilets clean kitchen. Well done.
