  I made a booking for 9 people a whole week prior to Mother’s Day. When we arrived, my reservation was not recorded. The waiter checking the reservations showed me the bookings list and there was another booking with the same name and time as me but obviously wasn’t because the phone number listed was not mine and they booked for 5 people. It was a clear mix up as they must have thought we were the same person. However, if the guy that took my reservation down asked for my phone number, shouldn’t that have at least been noted? Anyway, as it was all booked out, the waiter offered the only available table was outdoors. It was under 20 degrees that night but we didn’t have much of a choice. It was too late to go anywhere else and we were already there. He offered to turn the heater on which did help keep one end of the table warm but tough luck to the rest of us who were seated on the opposite end of the table with no heater. The same waiter kindly offered a complimentary bottle of wine for the mix up which we accepted but between the 8 adults, was just pointless.Aside from being annoyed of the mix up and having to sit outside in the cold, I was really forward to the food because I had been here once before and really enjoyed the food.It was a set menu for Mother’s Day. Appetizers, entrees, mains and desserts.Takoyaki and chicken karaage 7/10 nice and crunchySushi plate 4/10 – below average, rice and tempura was soggy.Pork Belly 8/10 nice flavours and pork was super soft.Barramundi 3/10 dish came out cold. Flavours were alright but was pretty much put off of eating it because it was cold.Steak 6/10 standard steak, nothing special. A couple were quite chewy.Teriyaki chicken 7/10 nice flavours and chips were crunchy.Chocolate Lava Cake 10/10 the only thing that was good that night. It was a perfect lave cake, consistency and flavour was on point. Ice cream and strawberry complimented it well.Creme Brulee 7/10 tasted nice but was cold.The biggest let down was this was for Mother’s Day and I had booked a week earlier but for it to be mixed up like that. I know we all make mistakes but that in itself had really put more pressure on how well the food would taste and overall the food wasn’t good enough. My mum barely ate and was freezing so the overall experience was not good. It was great the first time here. Unfortunately, I’d be hesitant to return after this experience.

  Delicious food, great service, fast table service and a modern ordering system. Will come again to enjoy the nice outdoor area on a warm afternoon.

  Have been here now three times with my hubby. We have both been very happy with everything we have tried. Found food to be very well plated and flavours have always been very tasty. Staff are all very polite and have always helpful with information on dishes. Fast delivery of orders and food isalways hot. Also found that access is wonderful with plenty of room to move as my hubby is in a wheel chair and many places are not set up to accommodate wheel chairs. Quickly becoming one of our local places to go for a meal.
