Sometimes you find a gem behind the old school decor. Not this time, food was cold when it arrived and if you cant get sweet and sour right then you should forget it. Disaster and very disappointed. Never again.
loved the food. fast delivery. freshly cooked food and yummy. my husband said best sweet and sour pork ever!! sauce is not put on until you do it so no sogginess. satay chicken yum. honey chicken yum. so recommend this place. well done.
We wanted to trythis place because of the decor. I know, weird huh. We just thought because it doesn’t really look convincing, it only means that it’s authentic and omg we were so happy we decided to try. We had the BBQ Pork with honey sauce (I think that’s what it’s called), Lemon Chicken and special fried rice. They were amazing and asian take away normally have so much msg but I’m happy to say that this definitely had none (at least not that we know of as we didn’t tasted any) and we definitely will come back for more.
Had last minute takeaway from here 3 times now over the last few months and every tin the food is always greatMy favourite is their crispy salt and pepper chicken,how they get it so crispy is beyond meTheir rice is so nice and it’s not sickly or over seasoned like a lot of places do, they seem to be a bit more authenticThis place has been there for as long as I can remember,so that goes without saying.I strongly recommend this place
Definitely do NOT let the outdated decor deter you from ordering food here. We ordered the satay chicken, Mongolian beef and fried rice and it was the best Chinese I have had for a long time. Great sized portions, affordable and great service 🙂
I love this place been going here for years. Always friendly and the food is always good. The spring rolls and special fried rice are the best I have had.
Don’t let the dated decor deter you. I have driven past this place many a time and because of its outdated look, I have never given it another thought. Friends of ours have been telling us that this place serves up good old fashioned Chinese food and they were not wrong! We tried the lemon chicken, sweet n sour pork, steak and black bean, salt n pepper squid, special fried rice, chicken with chili sauce and all were delicious. They even still serve the food in the old foil style containers… This place, whilst it looks like it’s stuck in the past, took me back to memories of having Chinese take away when I was a kid with my parents!Pricing is very cheap, quality is not!
