I eat at Kims regularly, and have done since the doors opened at Trimmer Pde. The place isnt flashy, and it would be easy to drive past and not notice it was there. But that would be a mistake as its some really good ‘home style’ vietnamese street food. That might sound like an oxymoron. Its not. Kim makes all of her food on the premises, and her son makes a ‘secret recipe’ chilli sauce thats, literally, one of the best condiments I have ever tasted. So for those inclined to investigate, menu recommendations: Chinese-style dumplings with home made chilli sauce (dont worry, its mild. not spicy), Crispy Pork with Rice, and a side of her home made fried chicken wings. Make sure you introduce yourself to Kim, she’s one of life’s little gems and a person well worth the time to get to know. The service is always good.
