Banh is a little blahhh!. I have eaten a heap of these rolls in my time and I love the combination roll. At this place, the rolls are more expensive than anywhere else I have been. The special combo roll is full of meat but lacks any flavour! The roll was going stale. I had been looking forward to eating one of these all week… Overpriced let down!
The roast pork roll with crackling is delicious, as are the home made dim sim. The spring rolls were generously proportioned and quite tasty, but a bit under-seasoned.
Very appropriate name!. Tried this place today and was very happy with the Banh Mi. We both went for the Combination Vietnamese roll, and it was fantastic. The crispy pork had crackling and I think next time I’ll go for that on its own! Definitely a good addition to Semaphore Rd.
