Takeaway took an hour on a Tuesday night. Food was inedible, the chicken dish had bones in it which wasn’t described on the menu and it looked and smelt dodgey. Will not go back.
We ordered takeaway, and the food was inedible. The wontons were gamey and oily, the salt and pepper tofu was soggy and chewy, and the Mongolian chicken was pink and stringy and the vegetables in it were limp. We love to eat out and aren’t incredibly discerning, and neither of us have ever complained or sent food back, but this was disgusting. We will never go back again.
Waited nearly two hours for delivery- couldn’t call and cancel due to phone going straight to message bank. Possibly the worst customer service I have ever come across. After waiting we drove Down to the shop to find a cue of people already waiting in line to complain. At this point the delivery guy arrives but refuses to give it to my pregnant wife waiting at home on the off chance we had recieved a refunded in the meantime. No wonder the place down the road was busy compared to shanghai.
Very frustrating dealing with this restaurant. Food usually good. Service so-so when eating in restaurant but service deplorable when ordering delivery. VERY slow, arrives minimum 45 minutes past the time they say and staff are then rude and don’t care that they haven’t even come close to doing what they are meant to.
Hidden Gem. I have driven past this restaurant for many years and finally decided to check it out tonight – Very glad I did.My partner and I enjoyed a mini banquet, courtesy of a Cudo Voucher. There were prawn crackers to start. Followed by Prawn Toasts, with piping hot chicken and sweetcorn soup.A limited choice of main meals, as stated on the voucher – we decided on the Mongolian Beef plus the Beef and Cashews, which was served with a plate of fried rice.Desert was ice cream, with peanuts and topping. Plus we each had a house wine. The food was delicious, the portions were generous and the service was friendly.Highly recommend – we will definitely be returning soon – 8.5/10!!
Terrible service. Waited at least 15 minutes before our order was taken.
Dinner Jan 5 2014. Booked for 4 at 600pm. Prompt service, however, some difficulty with one waitress knowledge of English. Meal was superb, served promptly. Only minimal in restaurant. Probably cooked meat with MSG. Check on that if you react to MSG products. Affected one of us. Good wine selection and prices were very good. Highly recommended.
