Forget the glitz and glamour, this place doesnt look like much but the food here packs a punch. I was craving for dumplings and after my 1st and 2nd options are both closed on a Sunday, we headed off to Bei Fang to check out their offerings. The fish and coriander pan-fried dumplings were juicy and tasty, and the skin was thin and crisped on the bottom. The fillings were a bit inconsistent with each dumplings, but that did not detract from its flavour. The Bei Fang fried rice was super fragrant, and there was no lump of rice sticking together whatsoever. Even better was the Mapo Tofu – spicy, pungent and so flavourful. The chef even came out to ask how the meal was. Well, it was awesome!

It’s decor is modest but it’s food is not. Really great prices and quality food. The staff are lovely also. Try them out if you’re in the area.
