Industrial styled cafe on Magill Road. A surprise gem in eastern suburbs.Very friendly staff, plenty of tables with lots of light.Coffee was really good.Does get very loud very quickly with the industrial decor & acoustics
For the life of me I just can not remember who recommended I visit Fine and Fettle. No idea. I’ve wracked my brain for the last 24 hours and am still none the wiser. F&F are on Magill rd Stepney, to find a park on that part of Magill rd is a nightmare. Over the moon is how I would describe how I felt when I realised that they have their own car park. We walked in and were warmly welcomed with a smile. I love that! We seated ourselves at the tables and chairs, yes there are those horrid stools and high tables, yes, yes makes good economic sense to have them in an eatery. To read the rest of my review click on my website below onlyifitsgood.com.au
Lovely service, really interesting menu and amazing flavors. That viet coffee & spiced lamb was amazing! Good work guys 🙂 will be back for sure x
Had the sashimi salad which was really a poke bowl and loved it! Great coffee. The girls behind the counter are so nice, very welcoming. Such a wonderful looking place with great food, coffee and service.
Good dining experience. We had the tuna salad bowl and the beef tataki salad bowl. Lovely and fresh tasty dishes that are presented really well. Each element in the dishes paired well with each other . We also had iced Vietnamese coffees with our lunch – the ratio of condensed milk to coffee was a bit off which made it super sweet. Would also have liked to have it served with the traditional slow drip filter at the table as it was served with coffee already on top of the milk. Service was pleasant. Definitely be coming back to try the other dishes.
Delicious contemporary Japanese food. Their smoothies definitely bring all the hipsters to the yard. I had Aburi Salmon with other fancy words and stuff and totally rate it.
I was pleasantly surprised and a little confused by this place. So its appearance is the classic on trend upper middle class brunch kinda place – its furnished minimalistic with light wood, hipster kinda vibe. They do super healthy green juices and serve bottled kombucha. They actually do delicious modern/fusion asian dishes! (I saw japanese, korean and Vietnamese inspired dishes) Its like a fine dining experience in a trendy cafe/juice bar. I had beef tataki which was delicious and pretty well balanced. Breakfast menu ends round 10.30/11 i think and from then on theres only salad bowls. I wasnt crazy on the juices, but if youre a keen green juicer who wants super vegge drinks, you can get them here, plus a good feed!
