Ate here twice last month. Once with my sister, once with my housemate. Both times the food was excellent. I had the butter chicken and the goat special, both cooked to perfection. service is quick, prices are reasonable and the food servings are large. The place is clean and the enjoyable to eat in. There is an outside deck too. This place also does takeaway and I’ve had no issues ordering the picking up. big thumbs up from me.
Ordered a late takeaway order here on a Friday night. I was just ordering for one, and got Vegetable Samosa (2 pce), Barramundi Masala, a small plain rice and a cheese with garlic Naan. At $35, this seemed a bit pricey, which was consistent with other people’s reviews, but when I got home, I found there was so much food. I can put away a reasonable amount, but this could have easily been a meal for 2 – in fact, I had lunch out of it the following day. So that being said, I think the price was quite reasonable. But, the best bit was eating this feast! Some of the tastiest Indian I’ve had in a long time. Will definately be going back and recommending.
The best Indian restaurant I’ve found in Adelaide or Adelaide Hills so far. Indian food is sometimes too spicy or hot for me but the food here is milder than most and is delicious.
Big naan!. I’ve only had takeaway but it’s always been so good! They have yummy food and big naans!!
Very nice!. Great food, a little pricey but would recommend, we will be back!
Great for takeaway, eat-in improving. We’ve only had takeaway from Tandoori Spice, mainly because in comparison to the opulent old Seimer’s across the road, the restaurant comes off second best. Each time we go, it’s looking nicer and warmer in there though, so we’ll have to eat in soon. Wherever you choose to eat it, the food is lovely. Very trad Australian Indian with some pretty mild sauces (particularly the Malabar curries) but some real killers too! What we like is that there are some lovely flavour combinations that seem — true to name — spicier (not hot) than more run of the mill places. We’ve had some especially flavoursome kormas and veg dishes (the eggplant is amazing), butter chicken that’s actually worth eating, and they have a good selection of naans and entrees as well. Prices are good, service is good (arrive 10 minutes later than they tell you to and you’ll be bang on every time). Certainly fills the gap in Indian food in Stirling, no complaints. Recommended 8/10
A bit pricey. We had a nice meal. lamb shank wasn’t memorable but chicken tikka masala was good as was spinach and cottage cheese. I thought it was fairly expensive for three dishes and roti and 2 glasses of wine for $90. If it were more in line with other local indian restaurant prices I would go back.
