The food is very basic no-frills pub fare with a small help-yourself sad-looking salad bar. A bit pricey for what you get. The outside front street area is nice however to enjoy alfresco dining amongst the seagulls.

What a horrendous experience. I was with a wedding party and the waitresses didn’t even know the table numbers. Waited over an hour for plain chicken schnity and chips. didn’t get my food. Got a full refund left the party and headed for the nearest fish n Chips. If you need to eat in the region go down the road to the Middleton Tavern a much better experience is guaranteed.

Ordered the nachos. It was the worst we have ever tasted unfortunately. It had fake cheese sauce and fake guacamole. Plus wait time was 30 mins. Wedges were good though!

Poor. 30 minutes waiting for mains is ok, but the food quality is really poor. This would be the worst pub I’ve ever eaten at (and I eat at pubs regularly), fisherman’s basket ($27) was the size of an entree.I am traveling from Melbourne and spending two nights in Victor Harbor, I urge you to find another pub in town before eating here, this is really a last resort (ie will not die of starvation but will maybe prefer that you had)

I’d say OK. Its a typical pub with average meals. Has a salad buffet, which was good. Schnitzels ordered had dry toppings (no sauce) so were a hard slog towards the end. Beer was cold though.
