Visited on 26 September 2018 and enjoyed a really nice meal! Took awhile to order due to bar attendants serving drinks (not their fault) but food came in a generally (we did wonder a couple of times where the meals were) timely manner. My boyfriend received the incorrect beer, but due to the fact that he liked it regardless, he didn’t complain. Would definitely visit again!
The late afternoon beer and wedges review, The wedges although generic , had a touch of effort beyond that I have personally seen at any other Pub as their standard fare. The crispy bacon pieces and spring onion garnish really showed they cared even on a basic dish.Recommended by the information center we called in for a beverage and a bite , I’m glad they did.Friendly service , ample seating inside and also outside café style behind a glass wall.A few craft beers on site and a good range of ciders in the fridge.
Went this evening Norfolk Cafe Got kids meal first all good12 hours pork ribs we like something that had been in the oven for 2 hours. Veggie burger was like a tasteless piece of stale bread in a bun. To be fair when I informed staff the did ask if we wanted something else. We declined and ere not charged for their lack of culinary efforts.
Excellent value for our $25 per headChoice of soups3 course cavery with choice of meat, salad, deserts.Free coffee or tea.If you are a pensioner they give you a 20% discount. If you lived in Victor this would be your weekly feed.Better value than other hotels in area.
Fantastic seaside vantage point and seafood-heavy pub food menu. Service can be tricky because you order and get served by bar staff, who can be hard to get attention from. Great wine list – we had Rockford Alicante Bouchet rose to go with our quality seafood sitting out the front – great. No bookings so you may be lucky to get a spot. (see also Encounter Restaurant for carvery and a la carte)
