Travel to VH just for the fish and chips here. Staff prompt and efficient. Had the flake, butter fish and barramundi with chips. Few calamari rings yum and dim sims. All cooked to perfection with great flavour. Busy shop with a line out the door during real.busy periods. A must if in the area
At first we ate there and ordered grilled fish, came out beer battered fish, never mind as the fish was good, then my sis ordered food packs contain fish n chips, crab stick, dimsim, calamari rings. It was very disappointing as the fish and crab stick were soggy, calamari rings and dimsim and chips was more like half cooked, it was still too soft, u can even tell from the colour. And they asked if we want ketchup and we said yes, lots of it, and they didnt put any inside.. definitely no more next time.

I had crumbed barramundi, which was fresh and delicious as were hubby’s calamari.. I asked for loads of salt and vinegar on the chips but sadly they were unseasoned and bone dry. Great shape and crunch though.. Best enjoyed on the grass making the seagulls jealous.
Went there a couple weeks ago and it was our first time visiting this place. Saw some reviews about them and decided to give them a go.The fish are pretty good but the chips were a dissapointment. Quite pricey too.The service was mediocre.
