Poor service, pricey crap food – don’t bother. Never again. Nearly an hour to serve over cooked seafood basket on a bed of fatty chips. Supplied complete with vinegar in a wine glass that we ordered as Chardonnay (at additional cost), Heinz fish and chip shop tartare sauce squeeze sachet, small container of salsa for bargain $22 a serve! No slice of lemon! Eat in Victor before walking to Granite Island. Shame as cafe with so much promise in good location with lovely views.
It was okay. My group ordered the seafood platter for 4 people, there was enough food there to feed up 8 people! Everthing was fried but the quality of the seafood was pretty good for a pretty scumy looking cafe. Service was poor because it was almost non-existant. It’s definitely the location and the view (and the penguins) that ensures that customers leave moderately satisfied.
