Great place to watch the footy on the weekend or enjoy a pizza, wedges and a drink on a Friday night after work.My favourite is the vegetarian pizza and I am not a vegetarian. The goats curd on top just finishes the pizza and the roasted veggies are very tasty.I like the atmosphere in the beer garden especially during the footy season. The staff are friendly and helpful. I have never been to the restaurant section but the pub grub and meals at the bar are great. We keep coming back!
The Bistro food was very nice but way too expensive for a western suburbs suburban hotel. I think the staff were getting a bit tired by the time our table was ready. Eating steak at 8.30 pm We had a good night though. The end of the night we had to deal with a very bad mannered person because we split the bill, she made it extremely clear she was very put out. We did check first though. Only 8 of us. All things to get straight when booking a table.
Good fun place. Cool vibe for a suburban hotel. Quite sophisticated menu. I had the smoked trout with speck and potato rsti, Spanish onion jam, fennel rmoulade which was delicious.
have been in the pub section for a cheap schnitzel and the dining area for a burger. Both were great, especially the burger. Was lucky to get a big table here for someones birthday just from walk in too which was lucky
Ive been here many times since it’s near my mum’s so it’s an easy, convenient option. Consistently good pub bistro food with something for everyone; all done well. The salads and vegetables bar and accompaniments are always very good as well and much better, more varied and more fresh than almost all other places.
Decent pub with a good layout and facilities. My group had a variety of meals for dinner in the bistro area. I found the chicken parmigiana pretty tasty and genuine but incredibly small for the price tag. Pizzas were a good size and cooked well with a great crispy, fresh base. I hit the accompanying salad bar 3 times to feel full so make good use of it if you can, as you clearly pay for it with your expensive main.
My partner had a chicken schnitzel and I had a cajun chicken burger in the front bar. Both were competent without being overly good either. The Cajun burger was a bit disappointing though, I expected some spice but it tasted like the fillet was coated in pesto. Could have got something more flavoursome from Nandos.
