The platters with injera are so delicious! First time trying Ethiopian and it didn’t dissapoint. Good selection of meat and veg accompaniments. Good value for money and a nice place for dinner with friends/family.

Had my first experience of Ethiopian food and coffee (really strong) here, and I’ll sure be here again and again :). For those who’ve never tried, the food almost always comes with injera, a spongy, sour flatbread that you kind of use as an edible spoon to scoop up the meat, lentils, vegetables, beans and sauces piled on top. I’d definitely recommend. The staff are wonderful, Yenenesh makes you feel right at home. She tries teaching me some Amharic but I keep forgetting haha. Also, Ethiopian food is perfect for vegans/vegetarians. Ethiopians are predominantly Orthodox Christians and spend at least 2 days a week and all of Lent ‘fasting’ i.e. eating exclusively vegan.Solid 5 out of 5. Just make sure you bring cash and an appetite!

Amazing food. Had the banquet meal and was excellent value, a selection of 5 vegetarian, 3 meat with injera bread (insanely good!), unlimited refills!Brilliant service. The lady that owns it is so sweet and passionate about sharing her culture and her cooking with you. Cap off the meal with Ethiopian Tea or coffee (pictured). 5 stars for sure.

Yumm!!! Its very different but definitely worth a shot! I Didn’t get any pics but we had the $28 mix of everything on the menu option. The food is soooo tasty. Great staff and thanks to the owner who was very friendly and accommodating. Will be back and highly recommend.

Fantastic Ethiopian restaurant. Been back many times. Quality is consistent. However not all dish are available everyday so if you’d like a particular dish, call ahead.Recommended dish:- #4 – Siga Wett – spicy cubed beef. Very flavourful and a bit spicy.- #7 – Minchetabish Alicha – mince beef. Has a nice creamy texture.- #9 – Kitfo – raw cured mince beef with home style cheese. Lightly spiced and cured. Surprisingly good.- #11 – Tibs – cubed beef and lamb ribs. Recommended.Note: The injera is very filling.

Zed was born to be a restauranteur. Since 2002 Addis Ababa has provided food of the highest quality and authenticity outside of Ethiopia. I’m proud to say that I’ve been there from the beginning and will do for as long as I will live. This venue deserves at least one Michelin star
