We were in the suburb of Seaton when the hunger that only a kebab/yiros could fix. My sister told me that she knew of a kebab place in West Lakes shopping centre. We made our way to Westlakes where we found Rona Kebab. First we were a little surprised as here in South Australia they are more commonly referred to as a yiros. Well either way, we weren’t detered. As we approached the counter we were served by a middle aged man and we began to order. As we were not familiar with the process we started to list the ingredients we wanted on our yiros. He then interrupted us and explained that we would have the opportunity to declare our desired ingredients after he has added the meat and sauce. He went to cut the meat and a brunette lady took over our order. She asked if we would like garlic sauce, when my sister misheard her she responded abruptly that she asked what sauces we wanted. Well what sauces could we have? Nobody cared to tell us. She had such a rude tone and worst of all she never once asked us if we would like extras, apparently includes cheese. Who doesn’t want cheese? I know who does want cheese, me! So when we ask her to add cheese she basically tells us no. So we asked again and her reaction would make you think she would have to go milk the cow and make the cheese herself. it’s not like we changed our mind, she never bloody asked us! When we finally got our yiros it did not taste great. Maybe like a 4.5/10 but considering the service the whole experience was a solid 2. Rona kebab, no thanks.
