Smash and grab late lunch at Sushi Chan and as far as sushi goes this was ok. I was so hungry Id already demolished the smoked salmon and avocado roll I had ordered before the pic. I didnt like that they put red onion in my sushi, what a random addition. If you need something to fill a void in your tummy for a cheap price and you dont know what to get from the food court then this is an option.
Tried Sushi Chan after watching movie at Reading Cinema. The raw salmon row was excellent with the avocado and the source! However, the crispy soft shell crap roll was just okay and didn’t have too much flavour of crap. Moreover, the price was higher than that in other sushi shop which provides similar quality. $3.5ea for the raw salmon and $4.2ea for soft shell crab…I think it is not worth in this price…

However, I regularly visit Westfield West Lakes for work, and whilst there, often stop off at Sushi Chan for lunch.Sushi Chan is better than most other takeaway sushi places. They have a big menu of sushi rolls, salads, bentos, cold rolls and hot food. The sushi, unlike other places, is made throughout the day – so it’s always fresh. It is also very clean and seems consistently busy.They also have no EFTPOS minimum and plenty of staff make which makes the place convenient for lunch. Food and drink prices are standard. Would recommend to anyone visiting the mall.
