lovely food although a little over priced for what you get. the pasta was nice but relied too much on the cream for its depth which made it a bit rich. and shaven fried sweet potato although is an inventive Garnish didn’t make sense given the flavours on the plate especially when the other main king fish has the same garnish . I do like that the chef is trying and taking some risks, better than a boring menu but more reflection is needed to really refine the some of the food concepts attempted. The oysters were some of the beat I’ve ever had and worth the price tag. it would be great to see this place a little more modernised in terms of the decor however I have a soft spot for old decor in fine dining style restaurants. they feel so homely and would hate for it to look like another generic mid century minimalist hipster city restaurant. love the cane furniture haha!

Fine dining in the steel city. Somewhere north of Gepps X lies the town of Whyalla. If you thing it is just fried chicken and burgers think again. The Watersedge Restaurant at the Foreshore is fine dining of a standard that shame many Adelaide establishments. Always make a point of meeting friends there for a meal when I am up there. Excellent wine list and you can always find something to accommodate a table with diverse menu selections. Highly recommended
