Food was good and the service quick. Good honest pub meal. Would go again. The only down side was they start packing up early and we felt like we were being rushed out
2 outa 3 aint bad. Have to say the Alma hotel is shoddy compared to the rest of the pubs in Willunga, the others, the Middle pub and the Top (Bush Inn) are far more inviting, food at the Bush Inn is amazing, in short, don’t waste your time at this joint, much better food, service and atmosphere up the road !!!!!
Food, wine and service were fantastic. We ordered the salt and pepper calamari, salt and pepper prawns, and we’ll as the grilled fish and the were all filling and well made. They bistro also has a salad bar with a decent range. We finished the meal off with a sicky date pudding… To die for, recommend this place definitely
The kitchen are incapable of cooking a simple chicken schnitzel, both times were bought out burnt! Which inevitably made the chicken inside the burnt crumbs dry. Also the salad bar was right outside the toilet doors! Suffice to say I avoided it altogether. Only good thing about the evening was I was there with friends and the band.
Good food, good people. Classic Aussie pub with good service and good people. The Chorizo Penne and the Pork Rib Eye were both superb before having a couple of drinks in the beer garden making it a lazy Sunday afternoon
Innovative Menu. We recently ate ate the Alma and can only say we were very impressed. The standard of service was high and our waitress, Naomi, ensured we were both comfortable and all our needs were met. The menu offered some very different options and the quinoa salad with sweet potato chips was a delight. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, would recommend the hotel to anyone and will be back!
My husband and I recently went to the alma hotel and were very happy with the whole experience ….the waitress Maddie was so so luvly and helpful….and the food was the best pub food I’ve tasted in a long time…I had a lamb yiros and my husband a bucket of prawns..what a great idea…..The beers are cold ..the staff friendly…and the food delicious …We’ll be back!!
