One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the area, which is really saying something. I keep trying other places and every time they’re outshined by Hoang Gia Quan. Friendly, quick service. Exceptional value. Soups are all brilliant. Duck is amazing (in fact, all entrees are). Highly and easily recommended.

Nothing on me and a mate drove all the way here from Hallett cove wanted to try something new and all I can see is god dam we’re missing out down south this place even though not fancy the food was outstanding and the service we received second to none will definitely be going back well worth the drive, so do yourself a favour and go there…

I have eaten here many times and it is overpriced. However my rating given is for a recent take away encounter I had with them. I ordered 2 combination rice for takeaway and usually this includes the side soups. When I got there I asked where the soups were and they said they would have to charge me an extra $2.50 for each additional container for the soups. I call that bad service as those containers are a cost to the business but the cost to customer loyalty is much much worse. I won’t be back due to this and the servings are tiny. For a better experience I would recommend going to Pho Ba Ria 2 which is just down the road.

I would give this place a minus 0 if I could. Overpriced below than average food. Their spring rolls alone are almost twice the price than others and are of lesser quality. Staff are RUDE. no idea how this place is surviving. Not for long I’m sure. Save yourself money and dissapointment and go down the road to NNQ where it’s not SAD and for much better cheaper Vietnamese food.

Pho was very poor. Strange and off putting aftertaste and very oily. I’ll give a point for service and friendly staff. Very disappointing meal 🙁

We love this place and are really happy we found it. We love the combination rice and the chicken laksa with vermicelli noodles instead of hokkien is amazing!

One of our favourite Vietnamese broken rice shops. I always have the combination broken rice and it always guaranteed to be good. There is a lot from the menu to choose from and the drinks selection is good too. Service is always warm and friendly and prices are within expected range.
