Looking for one of the most authentic banh mi places and one of the best in Adelaide… Tay Do is the place. Been coming here for many years and ive always been satisfied. Every banh mi i had with different meat has all been great thus leading me to order combo from now on. The proportion of meat to carrot and cucumber is perfect and the sauce is on point. If you’re craving for a good banh mi, Tay Do should definitely be one of your top options. Just a heads up to all those who drive, the shop is literally located in front of a roundabout, so you may need to drive a bit further down for parking.
The Vietnamese rolls were not good. crackling was soggy, only a little sauce, meats didn’t taste right…. all in all – not good.I will not go back.
One of the best.. Definitely one of our favourites at S.A.V.R.A.G. We wouldn’t say it is the best in Adelaide but it is certainly up there. When there is always a line that almost goes out the door, you know they must be doing something right. We find they can be a little up and down, but you’ll rarely be disappointed. Highly recommend the combination roll.
Great pate and fresh bread rolls
Good Banh mi, but not my favorite. Went here once for takeaway Banh mi. Slightly soft rolls, crunchy pork, generous fillings, with quite garlicky taste. Just a small point but they put their cut rolls on a little glass shelf, ready to make, I hope they wipe that down regularly ! Very friendly service and the place was busy. I will probably would go back to Nhu Lan bakery, it’s not much further and the bread is often crunchier.
Best roll, best value!. Tay Do is amazing. I’ve been going here for maybe 4 years now. Always the best quality and flavour. Lemongrass is amazing. The bread is crispy and flaky on the outside and soft in the middle. Gotta be quick to get the cold rolls before they sell out! Highly recommended!
