Purchased a voucher on Tas deals and it was a lovely experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating but not too full on. Only complaints was the confit duck was quite salty, and the chocolate fondant was a few minutes over done (wasn’t runny). The flavours were good though and atmosphere was lovely. Have recommended to friends and will go back again
You may initially regret booking here, with this big elegant hotel looking deserted… But fortunately the restaurant itself isn’t deserted and the food doesn’t disappoint. Good food in a very quiet, intimate setting.
Other reviewer must have got a bad night. Service and meals were faultless.
For what was promised, this restaurant has significantly disappointed. My partner I visited recently and after 15 minutes with little to no service we left the restaurant. Staff are poorly trained and the service is shocking, especially of they wish to charge the high prices they do.
