I came here Sunday 3.30pm, after walking around Hobart city for an hour and almost nothing was open! Finally found this place. It is nice and clean with friendly staff. The door was not wide open so at first I thought it was closed but in fact it was open. This is a nice for getting in and out with no waiting, nice location in the square.
Sadly I came here on a Saturday morning with my partner and was seriously disappointed with sloppy service, dirty tables and rubbish on the floor. It seemed like staff were actively avoiding cleaning the tables. Perhaps take-away might be OK but with so many other great cafs nearby, there is little need to consider visiting Banjo’s
