Firstly when we walked in about 4 tables had dirty dishes on them. Secondly we had to wait for 15 mins for anyone to come up to us and take our order. When our coffee order was taken i asked for a long macchiato the girl had no idea what it was so i got a long black we a little jug of milk(my suggestion would be if you’re going to be an italian inspired cafe at least know diffetent types of coffee combinations) meanwhile we had been sitting down for about 40mins and the tables when we had walked in were still dirty. 2 guys had walked in after us and had received their food before us. although our french toast was nice, we had to scoff it down because our 55min ordeal was going to make us late for our ferry for mona.

Service was very slow but friendly and apologetic. Had the pappardelle with gamberi which was delicious but totally disappointed they only give you 2 prawns for $31.50!!! To the staffs credit they did apologise for this and added a few more smaller boiled prawns.

What a find! We were looking for a morning coffee and chanced upon this place when a favourite nearby cafe was full and we ended up the winners. The coffee was very good and the staff attentive without being overbearing. However, the best was to come when we had dinner that night. My wife said her lamb cutlets were delicious and the accompanying vegetables perfect for the dish. My penne was the best I have had for a long time. The balance of ham, sausage and tomato sauce was excellent with just the right balance of chilli and perfectly cooked pasta. I cant wait to try the meatballs in a couple of days. Post script: We went back there three days later and they were closed for a couple of days and we were leaving town the next day. We look forward to reading any reviews about the meatballs.
