Chicken burger was excellent – the conservative amount of chili jam added just the right amount of zing. And the chips, oh, the chips! So tasty! Perfectly cooked! Needless to say, I cleaned my plate, and although I was very full afterwards, I was still a little sad to have finished. The wine list is comprehensive and the inclusion of tasting notes takes the guessing game away and make this place a joy to drink.
They stuffed up our order but were very obliging in a free round of drinks. That’s how it should be. Nice work!Lamb pizza was the bomb. Shoe string fries with aioli were nomable. Cheese croquettes were rude; oral joy!
Great atmosphere, take advantage of the special lunch menu and the wine selection! I will say however the Gnocchi was a bit disappointing and came out tiny and cold. Chicken burger was great though!
Quick afternoon bite. After having a little nana nap earlier woke up hungry had a look around quite a few place’s to choose from stopped at grape staff very friendly and had a great understanding of what was on the menu niceJust had a pork kimchee kewpee mayo slider andCharcuterie orange thyme duck rillettes filled the gap perfectlyWashed it down with shipstern lager
Awesome. Had the best seafood platter from here 🙂 which included Fresh smoked salmon,3 oysters Kilpatrick, pickled octopus, garlic butter prawns, battered fish, lightly crumbed calamari served with beer batted chips and fresh bread with 2 dips for $38 🙂 beautiful presentation and great sevice, friendly and helpful, drinks selection is large and unique, very good vibe and location, wld highly recommended this place, enjoy 🙂
Delicious Pinot noire food yummy waitress excellent only down side…quite pricey
Poor service. Poor device. poor service. In the premier Salamanca food and wine hub, the grape provides a cosy location to savour local delights. It looks stunning, but like many of it’s neighbours disappoints with atrocious service. Tasmania is trying to forge ahead to become a foodie Mecca and some local businesses are hitting the spot. Not the grape. Tasmania it’s time to do much better. Local businesses must aim higher.
