A cute little spot in Salamanca Place where local Tasmanian spirits rule the menu with a significant number of whiskey cocktails on the side. The only thing missing was the fireplace. PS definitely have the chilli mussels!
Great service. They were patient while we waited for our friends to arrive and brought us some water. They explained in great detail the whisky tasting process and they were very informed on the whisky making process. The cask strength Port and Sherry barrel whiskeys were delicious!
This place looks amazing inside, just as a whiskey bar should with lots of leather and wood. Very comfy chairs and a great atmosphere. I had a flight of 3 whiskeys and enjoyed them all. The waitress was very friendly but although she knew what to say about the whiskeys I got the impression she wasn’t a whiskey drinker herself so lacked first hand knowledge.
WOW!! Live music on Fridays and an extremely genuine NZ bartender who made our return experience this afternoon an absolute delight. Your knowledge and genuine character was refreshing. Thanks
Awesome cosy bar. We did the flight of whisky which were delicious. 63% port whisky was very good. Two dudes with the moustaches were friendly and informative which makes the atmosphere so comfortable. Definitely recommend dropping in.
