Went back here recently after having moved away from the area for several years. Did not disappoint. The garlic prawn and chicken brie pizzas are still just as amazing.
Book ahead. Very popular. Quite pricey but good service, good ambience and pleasant, generous serves. Love an Italian restaurant with a rogues gallery of famous pics, which includes Sam Newmans twisted-sand-shoe mug
Went here for dinner tonight and got a couple of pizzas. I havent had pizzas like this since going to a Pizza Hut in 1991, a deep pan base coupled with an oiliness thatd make the Middle East blush and a saltiness thatd make the Dead Sea envious. Hunger does strange things to a person which is the only way I can explain how I managed to finish it all. Im not from Hobart so perhaps this is the norm here, but the contemporary pizza lover from the mainland should exercise caution. These pizzas are a nod to yesteryear, when smoking didnt cause cancer. If a trip down pizza memory lane holds some appeal then look no further.
