Never in my life have I been turned away from a coffee shop with vacant tables citing being ‘too busy’, in peak tourist season in Salamanca!! Painfully obvious why Salvete has 28% approval! I will never go there again. If you cannot fulfill your basic services regardless of how busy you are, then perhaps a change of vocation is in order?!
It took them 10 minutes to come to our table and ask what we wanted. We ordered a vege and goat cheese pita and a salmon-Brie melt. The place wasn’t busy, yet we waited for at least 20-25 minutes for the food to finally arrive. The $17 salmon-Brie melt was just a bit of toasted bread with about 20 grams of salmon and an almost invisible slice of Brie. The ‘goat’ cheese in the pita tasted more like Philadelphia cream cheese. Never coming back to this place.
