We were at Beauty point today visiting the seahorse and platypus and decided to stop by the Riviera for lunch. There was one person serving so we were waiting – me with a 3 year old child! He was checking out the environment while we looked at the menu. The lady after serving the people in front came from around the bar, closed the door and said to keep my child close. Fair enough! How about a greeting? Sorry to keep you waiting? Just rude, we left and never ate there – certainly will not return!!!

They had a local wine list that was Also well priced. I enjoyed looking out at the sea whilst dining it is a lovely spot. I would definitely come back for a relaxed lunch , worth the drive 🙂
OMG!!!!! 5of us had dinner here an we could not fault an of the meals, if ur traveling near Beauty Point in tassie u need to stop an have dinner here!!!! lots of locals eat here an as they say….go where the locals go to eat…..u will not b disappointed!!! thank u reviera tavern beauty point
Really impressive family owned business offering great service, good value pub style food and a clean and friendly family style surrounding. Beautiful old hotel right on the waterfront, open wood fires, lots of history and plenty of room to keep the kids entertained. Highly recommend.
