A celebration dinner with the ‘I’ll demolish anything’ hubby and Carb-a-holic small person sharing our DNA. Didn’t disappoint guys. We had the pleasure of being waited on by one of the cousins and his attentive nature and genuine interest in his customers was well received. I ordered the gnocchi giafranco which is a creamy mushroom sausage sauce served on the homemade melt in your mouth pasta. It is rich and I never learn my lesson and always order the main size. Hubby ordered the man size lasagne with extra Napoli sauce which was wonderful. The sauce was full of cheese and well seasoned homemade tomato sauce. It was a huge serving which we all decided to taste test. Carbo-child had a margeurita pizza sans basil because the green stuff has fibre and harbours the potential to cause internal organ failure (apparently). It was magnifique! Crust stretchy enough to warrant a fair rip but light enough not to weigh you down. It’s a craft of its own that base.We shared the bass strait pepper and salt squid for entree and regardless of its residency status it was perfection. Melted in your mouth and light with no chew.Washed down with a glass of bubbles and a Tassie beer we waddled off content for another weekend. I have a confession to make. I was a Cugini groupie for a period of time, and then stopped for a significant period. I may be back cousins.. I may be back
