Rocked up on a busy warm day. Ordered some scallops and a large bowl of wedges. Gee it was a large bowl. Scallops were delicious. Service was adequate. Decor is well outdated.
Fresh fish is cut, battered and cooked after its ordered from what I could see. Fish fingers were fresh fish – not typical processed fish fingers. A good little fish & chip shop that I’d gladly recommend.
Dry chips and overly greasy batter. Came here because there’s no where else on the Eastern Shore of Hobart to get ‘fresh’ fish and chips that we know about. The fish itself was quite nice – you could tell it was fresh. However the batter seemed overly greasy and the chips were quite dry. We got servings of large and small fish – we had no idea which was one large or small. Both had the same amount of fish in them.
