Sadly a bad brunch here this morning. I ordered the brekkie wrap which is advertised as filled with bacon, egg, cheese, spinach and mushrooms. I opted out of mushies, and it came out with what I’d describe as inedible bacon. They’d obviously defrosted it in the microwave so it’s been sitting in its own old thawing juice and was served up with rind intact and soft. Gross gross! My dinner mate had avocado and feta smashed toast which looked great. Coffee was ok and I’d drink that again. Note to the cook- de-rind the bacon, sizzle that sucker, don’t be afraid to fill your wrap up and when you see a guest with their bacon out of their wrap- it’s not a good sign. That stuff is pure ‘smoked meat gold’ done correctly and I for one feel ripped off that I couldn’t get my bacon treat..
