I had an excellent breakfast here on a frosty morning. The bacon and eggs were really well cooked and the coffee packed a punch. Staff were cheery which was a plus. Highly recommended.
Friendly atmosphere in a nice little town. Bacon & scrambled eggs were plain, simple & nicely cooked. Coffee had some flavour. Will come again.
I went here to pick up a quick breakfast as we were starting our road trip early that morning. was hoping to get some scallop pie, but they didn’t have any that day. Settled for a chicken and camembert pie ($5ish) which was OK in taste, and medium sized.Also picked up a plain croissant ($3ish), which was fresh and nice, but also nothing special.Good spot though to pick up some pastries or breads while passing through Bicheno!
Fabulous – lovely pastries and delicious coffee! Can’t wait to go again and again! Pepper steak pie was very yummy, lemon slice was very firm and tasty!
Great pies and cakes. Curried Scallop Pie made a nice change. Pastry was really good as well. Will definitely be back especially as it was a grey day.
Pre-made B&E rolls looked horrible but tasted awesome.Coffee was good too.Pastries are spot on. Opened in winter nice and early, definitely worth a visit.
Tried there chicken and Camembert pie,initially it tasted nice then the taste became all same same. My partners bacon and egg roll was nice and the apple pie just ok. I believe it’s the only bakery in town it’s not a bad option for breakfast
