Heard rave reviews from several people about Coal River Farm and that it was a must visit when I was making the rounds to the wineries along the Coal Valley Region and boy did it hold up to expectation! I loved that a visit is a 1-shop-stop and that you can sample the cheeses, pick strawberries, taste some handmade chocolate and even pet pigs all in the one place!Upon walking through the doors it was a no-brainer that I made a bee line to the sampling counter which had a whole host of cheesy goodness lined up on offer for sampling. Everything was delicious- the blue was super strong and extra stinky (which I like but it would be too strong for most) but paired really well with some bread/honey to cut through its harshness. The other standouts were the Ash Vine Log – super creamy and delicious.
