A lovely outlook over the surrounding countryside and waterway in a fairly modern open dining area.Good friendly and efficient service even though it was a fairly busy lunchtime.We thoroughly enjoyed the Vineyard platter for starters comprising prosciutto, olives, chicken liver pate, smoked salmon parfait, sourdough and pickle washed down with a couple of glasses of their riesling.We followed with the Torta Verde which is rustic herb, spinach and feta pie with pear, walnut, feta and green leaf salad. It would have been great to sit back and enjoy more wine however we will definitely do this again next visit.

Went down very well with a glass of pinot noir. My companion had the duck and was very happy with it as well.

I had the pleasure of dining Coterie today for a decadent 3 course lunch with the family.Everything was absolutely perfect from beginning to end, from the friendly staff to the beautiful views and atmosphere. In most restaurants it is a usual occurrence for at least one person in a large group to order the unlucky mediocre meal. Not here! Every single dish was delicious and cooked to perfection (I couldn’t pick a favorite and I tried a bit of everyone’s) from entrees to desert, and this is hard to find. I want to thank the staff for such a lovely experience and send my sincerest compliments to the chef. She is a true culinary artist who has presented one of the most elegant, generous and consistent menus I have seen in Tasmania. Anna Williams

What a great Day. Well what can I say we saw the sign on the side of the Richmond road and decided to have a look and what a delight it was.wifey and I called in and had the most delightful lunch at a very reasonable price and there was a great band playing most of my favourite songs, the band was called Hui and the Muse we were only going to stay a short time and ended up until the band finished well worth the visit, we will certainly be back to listen to the great entertainment and for the food. Thank you very much also to the very friendly staff
Went for a tasting today with family,shared some tasting plates and had the wine flight .The food was lovely,wine was good ,view was to die for,value for money.Had a most enjoyable time .
Gold not Coal. We visited the Coterie on Sunday evening for a light dinner with the three kids. It was every thing we’d hoped for in our Tassie gourmet experience. The flight of Wine tasting was great value the food interesting and wholesome, the ambience and view outstanding. Toss in friendly service somewhere for the kids to play outside and you have a recipe for some very happy campers. We loved it and it was good value.
