Not your normal loud noisy pub but an inviting, warm intimate dining room with a large selection of entrees and mains. Lots of local trout, fish, beef, chicken and some Asian dishes. A great selection of wines including many Tassie wines ( a number by the glass). All reasonably priced. I had the fettuccine with prawns, chilies and herbs. Very generous amount of prawns. My partner had the lightly battered fish and chips with salad and was very impressed. Highly recommend.
Food is decent for countryside town restaurant. Baked Tasmanian salmon and Spinach and egg fettuccine is recommended, although the portion size of fettuccine is a bit small.
